god of my city & yours too...

I started this post last night after listening to Chris Tomlin's song, God of this City. I love his voice and love the message of that song. I can't help but to think about our move and what he is preparing for us up North. Whether it's Lilburn, Dalton, Pensacola, Portland, Flowery Branch, Clarkesville, or even Ocean City, MD he is the God of our city. The song says that He is the peace to the restless. How very true. Just when you think you are in a strange place whether it be physically or emotionally- he's there. And, he is your peace if you seek him.
I just think that's really cool and gives me such hope about moving away to a new city for a while.
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this city...
Have the best day and thanks for making turning 34 a really good thing! A great day with a dear friend, the happy birthday song sung in the most precious voices, and a love letter from my better half. Life is so good! XXOO
