morning at the zoo...

On Tuesday, we decided to check out the free zoo in Salisbury! It's about about 20 min. away from our house so we went in the morning and to Chick-fil-A for lunch! yummy... We had a great time and there were actually some pretty cool animals there. Hands down, our favorite were the river otters. They are so much fun playing with each other! We stayed there for at least 15 min. Davis loved the beaver's den and the black bear. Carson just loved getting out of her stroller- ha! On the way home, we stopped so I could get Davis' picture in this beautiful corn field. I think it's so cool that we live 10 min. from the beach and from the most amazing farmland. On our way back to the car, there was smoke coming from our hood. Hmm? what to do on a strange road in MD alone?? Thankfully, this nice man pulled over to help us- followed us to the next exit- and then waited for us to have our car looked at by the Goodyear folks. Just ended up being a minor oil leak. Davis loved playing in the Auto Parts store and told the man his Papa had a store just like that one..........see? Told ya he was ALWAYS thinking about his loved ones back home! What a fun day!
