I love old friends...those who know you inside and out. The ones who tell funny stories about you. The ones who you can sit in silence with and totally be comfortable. The ones who make you belly laugh. Shane's buddy Jay & his precious wife Emily came up to spend a long weekend with us. My husband laughed that deep (actually it's high pitched...) laugh that he only does when he's with the ole' north georgia boys. I love to hear it. It usually stems from a college memory that is only funny to them. We had a blast with these two. The kids were stuck to them like glue so I'm sure they were exhausted. We spent some time playing on the beach and going to the aquarium in Baltimore. We only get to see them about once a year, so this was quite a treat! Jay is in his first year of Nurse Anesthetis school in Naples, FL. Needless to say, he's a studying fool and doesn't get to take many breaks over the next couple of years.
Carson looks forward to seeing "Em-ma-me" soon and Davis can't wait to chase Jay all over the place! What fun times!
