Davis turned three this week...on 9.9.09. It's hard to believe that we were celebrating a third birthday with our first born. To keep things real, our start with this precious face was rough. I wasn't sold on being a mother, his poor tummy was not right, and let's face it- we were terrified! Being a new mommy is so hard. However, over the past three years my heart pounds when I think about how much love & joy this little guy brings to our home. I love the way his brain is constantly thinking and the way his heart is constantly feeling for himself and others.
We celebrated this awesome dude by eating cake, going to eat at the Globe, and having a fun morning at story hour! It was just perfect. It was so nice to spend a day holding him, laughing with him, and celebrating just who he is...
We sure do love you, Davis Burns Hill!

(I was a little worried about being away on his big day....but, there were tons of fun calls, cards, videos, packages sent our way... so, thank you! It made his day just perfect!)
