in a nutshell...

I've been really slack about keeping our blog updated since we've been home. We've been busy (and i'm so exhausted!) and I guess I feel so in touch that I don't feel the need to blog... anyhoo, I'm going to sum up our last two weeks and add some pictures and then start fresh tomorrow! We had a great afternoon with Shane's grandmother, Mema. Last sunday, we drove up 197N and looked at the amazing leaves. We all had the best time and it was so nice to spend one on one time with her. She is doing pretty well, other than missing her husband of 69 years like crazy. I felt like we could somewhat relate on our trip...missing the men who made us so happy. On a much much different scale, but still missing a piece of our hearts. So thankful that mine is coming home soon. The kids have adjusted so well. Thankfully, as long as kids are fed and loved they are ok. We miss daddy and talk to him all the time on skype. We talk about him and laugh about funny things he says. We have less than a month until he returns! yay!!
