We went to storyhour at my favorite little library in Berlin. It's the cutest town ever. The ladies are just spectacular with the kids and it's such fun to get all dressed up and go every Tuesday. We don't really have to get dressed up, but you know we don't get out much! Today was our day to dress in honor of our sweet Nana. She made this dress for Carson & this is Davis' Nana jacket (she bought it for him...and that's what he calls it!). My mom is coming up here in a few weeks, and we cannot WAIT to get our Nana fix!
This week, the theme was music. The sweet ladies, Ms. Harriet & Ms. Robin, read all kinds of fun books about music and then we had our very own concert. This really cool family...of 9 children...all played their violins while telling a really funny animal story. They remind me so much of the Chetta family in Clarkesville. They even let the kids have a try at playing! Davis LOVED it. I seriously want to sign him up for lessons. He was such a natural holding that tiny little violin. Carson tried too, but I'm thinking she needs something a little more fast paced!

Can't wait til I get my "fix" too. Missing all of you so much and it has only been a little over 3 wks.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Ohhh, that sounds like so much fun! Glad you guys are getting some Nana time soon! There is nothing better ;)
ReplyDeleteThat Nana is so crafty! Love Miss Carson's dress. Hope now that the teeth are here you'll be seeing her sweet side more often.
