We were in the middle of Messy Art at our favorite book store. The kids had just painted with shaving cream and were moving on to stamping & coloring. I looked over at Davis' paper and started screaming....."your name...your name....you wrote your name!" Of course tears were involved too. Sounds so silly, but this was the first time that my sweet boy wrote his name unprompted. And, I was proud. There was a hilarious & very sweet mother next to me in tears as well, just to prove I'm not the only lunatic! ha!
When we got home he was writing on the white board waiting for lunch and did it again. I snapped a picture this time... YAY for these exiting times! I just think little people are so cool because they are constantly blowing your minds.
That is so exciting! It is a very big deal, and I would have been the same way! Yay for Davis!
