What a fun treat to have the Hills in town for a few days. We were very busy and stayed bundled up the entire visit! The kids were in heaven. I'm not sure who had more fun...the kids playing hide-n-go seek...shane and I on our date...or Mimi & Papa stealing lots of sugar from the kiddos. It was cooold outside, but warm inside our house as we spent 3 fun days together! We have to share them with 5 other cousins, so what fun to have them all to ourselves. I love this picture of the four of them...
Baby, it was coooold outside. Bethany beach where we stopped ONLY to grab a few pics. and see the ocean! Quick stop... We drove up to Rehobeth Beach where they have tax free outlets. Did a little shopping, had a yummy lunch at Dogfish (yum!), and stopped for candy on the way home.
The next day, the sun was shining but it was still pretty chilly. We drove out to Assateague to the visitor's center and to look for Mimi's adopted horse, Sham. We think we spotted him in the woods.
And what is a trip to Ocean City, Maryland without a visit to the Boardwalk?
On Sunday, we made a quick trip to the Salisbury Zoo before we said our goodbyes. (sniff, sniff)
*my sweet friend erin made this hat for Davis. He wears it all the time and was so excited that it was chilly. What a labor of love that we truly appreciate.
Mimi & Papa finally made it back home after a little chaos with their flight. We can't wait to see them and the rest of the family in May!!
