A few friends of mine posted this little "get to know me" segment on their blogs today. I thought I would play copy-cat...
RIGHT NOW...
I Am- glad it's friday night.
I Have- an organized house (finally!).
I Wish- my family was a little closer.
I Want- a brownie blizzard.
I Fear- being unloved (random, i know) & puking in public.
I Hear- davis telling shane a story in his bed.
I Search- for ways to teach my kiddos in everyday life.
I Wonder- what it would be like to have a small booty. (ha!- it's true though)
I Regret- not keeping up my Blurb books for the kids.
I Love- laughing with shane.
I Always- take off my shoes when i walk in the door.
I Usually- wake up several times a night.
I Am Not- afraid to die.
I Sing- all the time, unfortunately to those around me.
I Never- ever ever eat potatoes.
I Cry- almost everyday (tears of joy mostly).
I Am Not Always- the best mama.
I Need- a really good shopping day all to myself.
I would love to see what some of you are up to "right now."

hope you get that shopping day all to yourself real soon...
ReplyDeletethe mamas who say they aren't very good mamas are usually the best ones. :)
how in the world could you not ever eat potatoes?
Have a great weekend!
love the post. will you come organize my house when you get back to the sham? i can still remember just how orderly your classroom was all those years ago! i so wish i had what it took to be that organized.
ReplyDeleteHey girl! I found your blog through Kim Reed's blog. I visit you here every now and then:-) I just have to say, those shopping days are a rare treasure, and I hope you get one soon...and YOU are a GREAT Mom! Being a good Mom, at least I think, doesn't mean that you're perfect but that you make mistakes, learn from them, and just do it better the next time around, and that when you've messed up--you admit it to your kids/apologize if necessary--and move on. I think our kids appreciate it when we admit that we sometimes make mistakes. You are a super Mom, and your kids are lucky. :)

I'm not always the best mama? Well, you're the best one I know! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about your potato thing...does that include fries?
Also, I just saw the commercial for the caramel brownie blizzard last night...must get to DQ today!
We love you so very much! And if you get sick in public, I will make sure no one sees you! Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteWHAT?!?! no potatoes?!?! that's horrible... how do you survive?
ReplyDeleteWhat is an orginized house? I haven't seen that in about four years (since Hailey entered our lives).
ReplyDeleteYou're too loveable to be unloved! (& I just fear puking period.)
How do you never eat potatoes?
I cry every single day (mostly over happy stuff too). I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Especially after reading Laura's "Right Now".
