Shane got super excited that Thursday was sunny. He called & told me to pack up the truck...he was coming home early so we could head to the beach. He never does this up here, so we were super excited. The wind picked up so we decided the beach might become like a war zone with the sand, so we made our own party. We celebrated early with red, white, and blue cupcakes, the baby pool, and some dock time for mama & dad! The kids were in heaven and we were actually able to talk and enjoy ourselves!
Thankful to all those amazing men & women who sacrafice their time and precious family members so that we can be safe & free here in the states. Looking forward to a fun weekend reflecting on so many awesome heroes that we know personally and those we don't.
