Nana couldn't stand herself....she needed to get her hands around the necks of Davis & Carson just one more time before we headed home for good. She adores those two so much. The feeling is quite mutual. Carson squeals with delight when I tell her we are headed to the airport & Davis just gets the sweetest grin thinking about hanging out with his Nana. We are so glad she came to see us one last time in Maryland. We have missed seeing her and love to be able to share our town with her.
We took her to our new favorite seafood dive- Dead Freddies. Ate lots of yummy food & showed her the favorite spot- the pirate ship!
We also took Nana to our other favorite place to eat and watch the boats...Sunset Grill. The view is beautiful and the food is to die for. They were having a fishing tournament so the kids got to see the big fish that came in to be weighed. It was a fun night celebrating my 35th birthday! After dinner, we went to the beach for a while. It was perfect that night- sticking our toes in the sand (and davis in the water!), playing frisbee, and just watching the sun go down. 
What fun!!
ReplyDeleteoh wow! i absolutely heart that sweet photo of carson with her arms around her bubbie! and you captured davis' dip in the ocean perfectly...do you ever feel like you're in a movie?? seriously...b/c your pics sure look like it! :)
