I absolutely love days like this with my kids.
Staying at home is tough. Some days i wait for Shane by the door so I can quickly dash out for a breath of fresh air & ask for forgiveness for my rotten attitude.
But, today was a good one.
The kids were so happy playing together. We did lots of normal stuff to keep us cool & happy.
The house is pretty much packed up so we are having to get a little creative.
Our day started at the Book Garden learning about Ocean safety.
The very kind (& adorable!) lifeguard brought some shells to share with the kids and let them sit on his rescue jet ski.

We then came home and played 30 minutes of choo choo.
After naps, we played for a while outside and took a walk to get the mail.
And came home to BEAR TRACKS!
How cool are these chalk animal tracks?
Our day was complete when daddy came home & grilled hamburgers and corn!
