fun visits over the weekend!

Thursday, we drove to visit my 89 yr. old precious Grannie. We had a wonderful visit with her and somehow managed to pack up and leave without breaking anything valuable. You know grandmothers...they like to parade the kiddies around to each and every friend as we leave. These sweet folks sure do love little people so it was a lot of fun to make their day!! Although, having toddlers who are already tired doesn't make for great company when there are china teapots sitting out everywhere- ha! It was so nice to see her before we move and she loved visiting with Carson and Davis.
Of course we couldn't pass Dalton without visiting the Beckler family and getting a bear hug from Miss Charlie. It was an emotional good-bye kind of weekend for us!
Our Nana saved the day by having the kids stay with her for two days so Shane and I could pack up, look for furniture, and celebrate my 34th birthday! We had a nice dinner and watched and admired all the "tubers" in Helen...ha! It was so fun to be together and catch our breath for a minute. The kids had big fun at Nana's house...as they always do.
This week is crazy. We leave for Daufuskie on Thursday and return next Tuesday. Yep, just two days before pulling out of the driveway for a while. I'm trying not to stress. Ha!
We'll be back soon! xxoo

Thank you for all your prayers for me. We'll pray for you too on your big adventure! Ya'll are going to Daufuski?? We have some friends who used to have a house there. Nice relaxing place! At least you'll have some down time just before you move! Cute house! Have fun on the water up there!

  3. What a whirlwind you are on, friend. Glad you are getting around to see everyone, but I know it's hard work too. Hope the packing is going well. If you forget anything...I'm sure they have a Wal-Mart. In fact, there's a chance it's even nicer than the one in Cornelia...lol!!
