hot, hot, hot

I used to be a big fan of summer & being hot...that all changed when I had children. Man, it's hot up here & the mosquitos won't leave us alone. We're all covered in bites and are praying we don't get west nile- ha! Today, we went to a story hour at this adorable book store in ocean city. The kids had an absolute ball learning about their teeth and going to the dentist. I asked davis what he needed to do tonight before he goes to bed and he said, "Brush for two minutes and eat frost!" I think he meant floss.... We spent the afternoon inside and since both kiddos protested naps, we had a talent show and got really snooty with each other. Please tell me that happens in your house too?

Hope you're avoiding the heat this week.

  2. What I love most is that, somehow, in that picture where she's crying, she looks just like you. Ha!

  4. Dear Davis,

Looking at the way your little sis looks at you in these pictures should let you know how important you are to the way she will grow up. She looks up to you to see how much fun life can be and looks for an example of how to respond to the daily happenings around you two. Stay close to her and watch over her.

    Love You!!!!,
    Uncle Richie
