What a great day the three of us had. We sure missed our captain...shane has this going to the beach thing down pat! We took his truck out to Assateague and managed to not get stuck. The waves were massive today. I'm guessing due to the tropical storm out there. Anyways, there were tons of people kite surfing, which is super fun to watch. At one point, Davis was cheering them on and yelled, "Get em' daaaawg!" Um, wonder where he heard that nonsense?! It was hysterical because he turned around to me and asked me where the dog was?! I think sister was missing her shade buddy today. She wanted to sit with me most of the morning and share my water. That is what her daddy does with her. It's a good thing I love her sandy bottom as much as he does! Another day to be thankful for.
p.s. I learned how to successfully put air back in my tires. (Thanks to a grumpy old man who saw me fail terribly at first.) I wonder if Papa would hire me at the parts store when we go home?
Precious beach pics! Ansley, your Mom and I were talking today about how good you're getting with your camera. Sounds like a fun Saturday for you and I enjoyed the company of your sweet mom. She is so looking forward to seeing you and then visiting Maryland and seeing those precious grandbabies :)
