The day after Christmas, we decided to head down to Daufuskie Island for a few days with Shane's parents. Shane was off work & we didn't have much to do. (you know, except pack up an entire home...ha!) I'm so glad we braved the cold. It was a great time to do nothing and just be together. We went to the beach for a few minutes, but the rest of the time was spent in pjs sipping on hot chocolate! The ride home was a little crazy and we didn't get home until almost midnight. We then hit the ground running packing up the toys and clothes to take back to MD with us.
