I love that my days are filled with spending time with these two.
Some days at home are hard, but days like this make me want to push pause.
Today's beach time was a real treat for all of us.
The weather outside was perfect and we had the beach all to ourselves.
On days like this I could really get used to Ocean City, MD.
(don't worry grandparents, I don't mean that.)
Davis could jump in the sand and build sandcastles for hours.
And sister could spend her time making us laugh and picking up grapes in the sand.
I felt like a baby when we had to leave and wanted to kick and scream...
But, I know today is the first of many days in the sand with my favorite little people.
Oh, I can imagine. I was thinking something similar with the beautiful day we had here...although our sand was red dirt and we jumped off a slide and had McDonald's. I love the time spent with my little people and love reading about the time you spend with yours!
ReplyDeleteJust think soon enough some of those times will overlap again! In the meantime, enjoy that beach and these sweet times!
push pause...and then fast forward so you can be here :) love it!
ReplyDeletelove the title. Sometimes we just need to stop and smell the roses. Time flies so fast that we forget to appreciate the times we have. Enjoy the beach for us too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge sand box!!! I love it and I love that you guys are on such an amazing adventure. Can't wait for the adventure to lead you home though. Love ya'll and miss ya'll!
ReplyDeleteI think it's so interesting that you had the beach to yourself! Seems like lots of the world has come to Panama City and Destin for Spring BREAK! The crowds are unbelieveable...my favorite memories with Aubree are when we moved to Kentucky and I didn't work....etch these memories on your heart forever....they are sure to become your most cherished!
ReplyDeleteLove these pics. I think about pushing pause all the time. Life moves too fast!
