Davis' first little experience in sports has come to an end. Happy Feet soccer will always be his first. We were so proud of him for being brave and having the confidence to go out there with 20 new little faces. He listened so well to his coaches and really took to heart their instruction.
He loved it at first, hated it by the end. I'm thinking he was a little overwhelmed...or just three and too young to understand a team and the chaos that comes with it. Anyways, the last "practice" he was pretty upset. He kept saying he wanted to go back to Georgia. See, I told you this had us in a funk! The medal, a good snack, and the support of his sister had him smiling by the end! I hope he'll want to play again. I'll let him decide of course. Maybe when he's five?!
