his zoo & a swim date

I love to watch kids play and imagine.  It's so cool to me how their brains work & how creative they can be during play.  As an adult, I want everything to be the same, to match, to go together- kids are more free and don't care about those small details. This is Davis' zoo he created yesterday.  I love that he used puzzle pieces & stuffed animals.  He was so proud and announced, "Mama...come to the zoo...and it's FREE!"  Poor boy really does know how cheap I am.
And this big boy & I went to the neighborhood pool today during naptime.  He was elated... yelled, "This is the best day of my life!" so loudly when we got there.  He did great.  He has a very "safe demeanor" so it was nice to see him let loose a bit...  splash like crazy, put his face in the water, and jump off the side!  These are very big accomplishments for Davis.  I was so proud of him for being so brave.
